Rev & Regs are currently recruiting for a 6-month contract Regulatory Reporting Specialist on behalf of a well-established and dynamic broker based in the City of London.


This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a respected organisation and contribute to critical regulatory reporting functions. If you are available for contract work and have relevant expertise, I would be happy to share further details.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the daily operational support for regulatory transaction reporting for EMIR, and MiFID.
  • Providing day to day Client Report production, quality control and delivery support.
  • Identifying and delivering necessary BAU reporting processes to maintain compliance with an evolving regulatory reporting and business change environment.
  • MIFID SME point for regulatory reporting issues with an aim to identify areas of synergy, scale and efficiencies.
  • Shaping the BAU process for MIFID reporting and reviewing the existing reporting processes and control framework to identify enhancements, as well as maintaining and renewing policies and procedures to comply with reporting obligations.
  • Carrying out remediation work as required when issues are identified across processes and reporting.


Experience:


  • Extensive Regulatory Reporting experience working for a broker.
  • MIFID / EMIR Regulatory Reporting.
  • Preferably you will have knowledge of equity swaps or listed derivatives products.
  • Team player, ability to work flexibly and tenacity.


Pay - £550 - £650 per day

Duration - 6 months (strong possibility of extension)

Location – City of London (4-5 days per week in office)

The role

The Data Insights & Reporting Specialist will be responsible for analysing data produced across the business, deriving insights and recommendations for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Board and leaders across Connected Places Catapult (CPC). The role holder will have a passion for working with data and bring a structured approach to developing insights from all disciplines across the business. 

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of CPC’s strategic journey driving the data strategy forwards, spearheading a citizen-developer centre of excellence approach, implementing a data visualisation programme. The Data Insights & Reporting Specialist will collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to establish and build a suite of semantic models, reports and visualisations. Once established, the key function of the role will be applying intelligence to the data gathered to inform decision making, alongside driving the self-service approach to analytics within the business. 

You will be responsible for working with Digital team colleagues to ensure that appropriate data sources are in place to enable accurate reporting and analysis to be undertaken by the wider group of colleagues. The key focus of this will be improving the quality of analysis derived from activities across all areas of the organisation. 

Requirements

  • Work closely with the data owners across the business to ensure high quality, complete and timely modelling and reporting is achieved 
  • Analyse data and produce reports, dashboards, and visualisation along with recommendations that enables Data driven interventions that enable CPC to achieve its targets 
  • Working with colleagues to put in place metrics that allow CPC to track and evidence its performance, supporting the various corporate services functions. 
  • Support the preparation and collation of data for key metrics, working with key stakeholders across the business, to draw together reporting requirements 
  • Working with colleagues to turn analysis into compelling outcome-based insights on business performance  
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and engage effectively 
  • Drive the adoption of Power BI across the business, driving forwards an centre of excellence approach, and  training users where necessary 
  • You may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties to support the Catapult in achieving its strategic outcomes and ensure effective business operations  
  • A track record of working with Microsoft Fabric & Power BI to develop and interpret reports, dashboards and produce visualisations 
  • Recent experience with modern data & analytics tooling, including Data Lakehouse and Medallion architectures, developing using Notebooks and DevOps release management. 
  • Knowledge of technical management of information, analysis, and relevant software solutions and coding languages (PySpark & DAX).  
  • Ability to use data to ‘tell-the-story’ and communicate outcomes in an interesting and compelling way using a variety of formats 
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an organised, proactive approach 
  • Strives to drive business improvements to contribute to the success of the business

Maps Reporting Specialist with Dutch Language
**Location** - London (22 Bishopsgate, City of London, London EC2N 4A)
**Work Model** - Hybrid.
Are you passionate about customer service and fluent in Dutch? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our London team as a Maps Reporting Specialist with Dutch Language! Your Responsibilities would include delivering exceptional customer support for our maps service analyzing and reporting map data to ensure precision and quality and collaborating with a global team to improve user experience.
**Skills and Requirements:**
+ Must have good oral & written communication skills and the ability to read, write, & speak fluent English and Dutch.
+ English fluency is a requirement as all tools, communication, documentation, training, work are in English.
+ English language skill of candidate are assessed using Apple provided Comms assessment
+ Setup, configure and maintain devices for editing, testing and documentation as per instructions provided by Apple.
+ Communicate and update Apple manager on status of assigned tasks.
+ Liaise with other support groups in Apple.
+ Graduation/15 years of education is minimum qualification requirement.
+ Interest in Apple products and / or mapping (preferred but not required).
+ Mac OS X experience preferred.
**Ideal candidate should have:**
+ 2+ years technical support or other problem-solving experience required.
+ Skilled researcher and comfortable using a variety of online sources.
+ Keen attention to detail and Self-motivated.
+ Customer service background (Communications team) preferred, but not necessary.
+ Perform information validation by calling if required.
+ QGIS skills would be an advantage.
+ Able to maintain positive attitude and attention to detail when performing repetitive tasks.
+ Adaptable and able to learn new projects and processes.
+ Can summarize information from different spoken and written sources.
+ The ability to differentiate different types of meaning in complex situations i.e. direct communications with our customers.
+ Written and verbal fluency in the agreed language(s) without aids (e.g., translation software or tools).
