The Residential Property Paralegal's role

Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors
Managing post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

The Residential Property Paralegal
The successful Residential Property Paralegal will ideally have:
6-12 months' experience working in a residential property department, ideally within a Band 2 or Band 3 Legal 500 firm
A Law degree or equivalent legal qualification (e.g. LPC/SQE1)
A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Familiarity with case management systems and Microsoft Office

Based at The Estate Office in Malton, you will be looking after a residential portfolio of 150 residential tenancies and our community of occupiers, located in the beautiful market town of Malton, North Yorkshire. The Estate has owned property in Malton since 1713, and the residential property is an important segment of our portfolio mix that includes a variety of commercial property and land.
