Our client is a highly reputable and established estate agency with a strong presence in the **Reading** area, known for its exceptional customer service and market expertise. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Estate Agent to join their vibrant sales team. This is an ideal role for individuals with a passion for property, excellent communication skills, and a desire to build a successful career in residential sales. You will be involved in all aspects of the sales process, from registering new clients and conducting viewings to negotiating offers and seeing sales through to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Register new clients, taking detailed information about their property requirements.
  • Conduct accompanied viewings for potential buyers, showcasing properties effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building rapport and trust with clients.
  • Generate market appraisals and listings through proactive business development.
  • Follow up on viewings and generate interest from potential buyers.
  • Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers, working towards a successful agreement.
  • Liaise with solicitors, mortgage advisors, and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the local property market.
  • Achieve and exceed personal and branch sales targets.
  • Maintain the branch's professional image and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with property photography and marketing descriptions.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A strong interest in the property market and a desire to become a skilled estate agent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of people.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and resilient attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays (with a day off in lieu).

Key Information

This role comes with a basic salary of £21,941 per annum plus commission & benefits (including RI Rewards, bonus scheme and the opportunity to earn more money with our company grading scheme)

Expected OTE: £2,700 per annum, incl bonus and a chance to add with commission schemes available after probationary period

Working hours: 40 hour contract working Flexible hours Monday to Friday from 0800 - 1800 

Location: Hybrid working at our Birmingham Bromford Lane office or Dudley Castlegate office, you will be expected to work at our office 2 days per week

The Role

You will be a key member of our Contact Centre team, responsible for providing world-class level service to our customers. You will be responsible for taking inbound calls and making outbound calls resolving a range of customer queries in your section alongside colleagues, working together towards your combined goals. You will also be tasked with the duty of selling Pest control jobs to residential customers in need. You will be the first point of contact for all new, existing and prospective customers, providing service through your learnt understanding of all business services, products and procedures, resolving as many issues as possible at the first point of call.

  • Ideally you will have experience working in a call centre or customer service environment however this is not essential
  • Ability to work from home, this includes a dedicated workspace with suitable internet connection 
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Consistent achiever who is motivated to achieve targets
  • Ability to use initiative and make decisions quickly
  • Someone who is open to change and innovation
  • Computer literate with a good typing speed and someone who is comfortable using multiple systems
