Our client, a renowned fashion retailer, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Store Manager to lead their flagship store located in **Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK**. This is an exciting opportunity to manage all aspects of store operations, drive sales performance, and build a high-achieving sales team. The successful candidate will be passionate about retail, possess strong leadership qualities, and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for creating an inspiring and engaging shopping environment for customers.

Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing store staff, setting sales goals, and monitoring performance. You will manage inventory levels, visual merchandising, and store presentation to ensure the store is always appealing and well-stocked. The Store Manager will also be responsible for upholding the company's brand standards, managing store budgets, controlling operational costs, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Building strong relationships with customers and fostering a loyal customer base will be paramount. The ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize profitability is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates and assistant managers.
  • Set sales targets and drive the team to achieve and exceed them.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met and exceeded.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock control, and loss prevention strategies.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and store presentation to maintain brand standards.
  • Develop and manage the store's operational budget.
  • Analyze sales reports and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Implement marketing initiatives and promotions to drive footfall and sales.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising principles.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for the fashion retail industry and brand awareness.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
