It’s fair to say that we know this business well, having made numerous successful placements here over the years, including the person that this opportunity reports into (who is excellent by the way).
Our ideal candidate is an ambitious and progressive leader, who ideally has recent SaaS scaleup experience, as well as some exposure to working in a listed environment. There is ample progression opportunities within this business, so someone who is on very much a fast-track career trajectory is well suited.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Own the day-to-day finance function, including overseeing monthly management & annual financial reporting as well as transactional areas
- Continually improve processes and controls, utilising technology for automation purposes
- Lead on all tax requirements (local and international)
- Support VP Finance on commercial finance / FP&A
- Operate as a trusted business partner to the wider group
- Develop, mentor and in time grow the finance function further
Profile essentials:
- Qualified accountant with strong academics
- Rapid-scale SaaS experience, coupled with exposure to working in a listed environment also
- Strong technical accountant with a commercial mindset
- Experienced with building & developing an elite global finance function (team members are currently based overseas as well as UK)
- UK & US GAAP experience
- Strong people management skills, including advising, challenging and influencing stakeholders (CEO/Founder, Board etc)
- International expansion exposure is beneficial

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering test packs and documentation for large-scale SaaS integrations
- Translating business requirements into scalable testing solutions aligned with governance frameworks.
- Stakeholder management
- Lead on the Test Management strategy
- Oversee the execution of test plans, manage test environments, and ensure all testing activities are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the entire defect lifecycle by identifying, tracking, prioritizing, and ensuring timely resolution of defects with functional and technical team
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the testing process and business process changes to prevent delays and maintain project stability
