An established SME in the Purley area is seeking someone to assist with their Business Development activities from early/mid-September onwards.

The existing job holder has been in the role for 5 years and now covers a range of duties in the business. Some flexibility is therefore required; however, the main areas are listed below. Initially they are looking at 10 months cover, however, this could be extended further, although not promised at this stage.

Core responsibilities:

  • Source new sales leads
  • Generate incremental sales from new and existing customers
  • Monitor customer satisfaction

Main tasks:

  • CRM & Sales Pipeline Management
  • Sales Campaigns & Lead Generation - Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Trade Show Campaigns
  • Digital Marketing & Website Management
  • Customer Communication & Administration
  • Internal Support & Operations
  • Supplies, Recruitment & Office Operations - as required

Brief outline:

  • Responding to existing and new client enquiries - mainly email introduced.
  • Organising a suitable time for the Sales Director to attend and quote for business.
  • Preparing quote and sending out, following up upon and then managing onwards.
  • Remaining or becoming the first point of contact for continued client experience and journey.

Working in a team of 3 office-based colleagues on a day-to-day basis, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a smaller team environment.
