The Role
As Sales & Solutions Lead, you’ll enjoy real ownership and influence - winning new business, growing existing accounts, and helping shape how solutions are sold, delivered, and evolved.
You’ll be the crucial link between commercial opportunity and technical delivery, guiding enterprise clients through complex challenges and designing solutions that deliver genuine value.
It’s a strategic, hands-on role blending sales, technical discovery, solution design, and delivery leadership. You’ll be central to major sales cycles while also helping define how services are scoped, packaged, and delivered across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving new business and growing value within existing clients
- Scoping and selling professional services layered on the core SaaS platform
- Leading discovery and design sessions with enterprise stakeholders (CIOs, Ops, Tech Leads, etc.)
- Creating practical, scalable solution architectures and integration plans
- Writing compelling proposals, SoWs, pricing models, and supporting documentation
- Translating commercial needs into clear delivery plans for internal teams
- Building long-term relationships across complex client organisations, working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to maximise value
- Travelling to UK client sites 2-3 days per week, plus some international.
What You’ll Bring

- Solid technical grounding - ideally with Microsoft stack, APIs, and enterprise integration

- Commercial acumen - able to balance value, risk, and delivery realities
- Familiar with frameworks like Challenger, MEDDIC, or Solution Selling

Your new role
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will serve as a primary pre-sales expert, engaging with clients to assess their research needs and demonstrate how our solutions can effectively address those requirements. This role involves collaborating with Sales and Delivery teams to guide clients through the pre-sales process, from initial engagement to scoping and pricing Digital Science offerings.
The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect leverages deep cross-product knowledge, an understanding of Digital Science data components and capabilities, along with industry specific insights to design and deliver tailored demonstrations, webinars, and sales materials. In addition to serving as a subject matter expert, the architect also provides technical expertise for proposals and RFX responses and supports scoping and pricing of contracts including services.
While the Pre-Sales Solutions Architect’s primary focus is on pre-sales and solution design, they also contribute to client enablement through training and workshops and play a key role in representing the company at industry events.

What You’ll Bring To The Role
Strong technical proficiency in Digital Science products (particularly Dimensions) and ability to quickly learn and demonstrate product functionality, ideally skilled in Python and SQL in GBQ environment and API.nPrior experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or a similar role, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven organization and prior experience in an analytical role working with/for government, funders, and/or nonprofits.nExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences.nExperience collaborating with internal teams to align technical solutions with customer objectives.nAbility to manage multiple multiple technical support engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery and responsiveness.

**You'll** **need to have:**
+ Experience and understanding of the index landscape, index solution design and index usage within financial institutions, especially along the structured products and QIS ecosystems.
+ Experience in selling index products to sell-side firms or, alternatively, experience in structuring and designing QIS, Structured Products or FIA products.
+ Experience analyzing prospects and competitors to position unique and relevant index solutions.
+ High level understanding of derivative usage and payouts within indices as well as their usage to gain exposure to indices.
+ An astute commercial mind-set, working to exceed sales metrics.
+ Demonstrable ability to identify new prospects and to build / maintain meaningful client relationships.
+ Aptitude to excel in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment.
+ Ability to creatively market our product to a vast demographic of potential clients.
+ A self-starter and dedicated collaborator with strong multi-tasking skills.
+ Strong existing relationships industry relationships relevant to this role.

BCD is looking for a Europe based (virtual) Director of Sales with strong sales and hotel industry experience.
This position is part of the Hotel Solutions commercial team and supports Stay by BCD, BCD Travel’s comprehensive approach to hotel category management.
A commercially and business savvy individual, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping compelling solutions and profitable deals to transform clients’ hotel category management.
As a Director, Sales - Hotel Solutions, you will
- Develop multi-layered commercial deals, proposals and strategies to create compelling offers and profitable sales.
- Proactively identify client needs and propose solutions.
- Manage and continually develop a strong pipeline.
- Align and collaborate with key stakeholders within BCD, Advito and client organizations.

As a B2B Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key industrial business partners to offer finance solutions, maximise sales, and increase business development for future business growth of the company.
As area sales manager with a background in financial solutions expertise OR industry knowledge of the industrial sector, you would liaise with key stakeholders (procurement/ engineering managers, finance directors, ‘decision makers’) to provide flexible uniquely tailored funding solutions to support and target SME /businesses across the UK for their purchase of e.g. industrial vehicles / haulage (vans/ trailers/ lorries etc) / plant machinery / manufacturing equipment etc.

Key Responsibilities
- li>Cold calling and generating new business from scratch for new customer engagement within the UK, targeting accounts and representing the company to increase current UK sales.
- Prepare, maintain and develop the Key Account Financial Plans to customers offering financial solutions e.g. Hire Purchase, Sale and HP Back (equity release from assets) and Finance Lease.
- Liaise with key contacts /customers about medium and long-term sales forecasting.
- Updating the sales CRM systems with logging call activity – key to organisation and follow-ups. < i>Management of customer complaints in close liaison with teams, ensuring effective and proactive communication and resolution.
- Management of various customer projects both with the customer and internally within the company.
- Develop positive, proactive relationships across internal departments and with external stakeholders.
- Ensure that all company governance and compliance requirements are adhered to.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience of working in a commercial B2B environment.
- Solid experience in ‘ industr ial sales’ / business development OR financial services experience
- Desirable - Experience of offering finance solutions e.g. Hire Purchase, Sale and HP Back (equity release from assets) and Finance Lease. Full training given. < i>Evidence of cold calling and travelling to customer sites. (Autonomy /freedom with your own customer base). li>Maintain a strong relationship within internal and external stakeholders.
