Job Description
Do you see challenges as opportunities? Thrive on uncovering true needs behind the stated ones? Prefer meaningful conversations over canned pitches?
At Oktopost we are looking for a Pre Sales Solutions Manager who brings both technical expertise and commercial acumen. Someone who naturally leads from the front and isn't afraid to challenge assumptions to create impact. If you're eager to align with high performing sales teams, guide complex buying decisions, and influence enterprise marketing strategies, we want to hear from you.
Who We Are
Oktopost is a B2B social engagement suite enabling marketing teams to scale social programs, prove ROI, and turn employees into advocates. Trusted by global brands, we bring clarity and confidence to social media strategies that move the needle. As a company, we operate using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to maintain focus, accountability, and alignment. We also incorporate the Sandler selling methodology across our customer-facing functions, valuing open dialogue, mutual respect, and the discipline of a consultative sales process.
Who You Are
You show up with quiet confidence and a focus on outcomes. You embrace accountability and know how to create clarity where there’s complexity. You’re energized by consultative sales, bring curiosity to every meeting, and don't wait for others to drive momentum — you create it.
What You'll Own
As the technical and strategic counterpart to Account Executives, you will support the full sales cycle, from discovery through solutioning and technical validation. This role involves close collaboration with AEs based in both the UK and the US, so flexibility in your working hours is essential to ensure seamless support across time zones.
Responsibilities- Partner with Account Executives to support discovery calls and lead compelling product demos.
- Translate prospect needs into tailored demonstrations that drive alignment and urgency.
- Address product-related questions, adapting messaging to technical and business stakeholders.
- Own the RFP and information security response process.
- Articulate how Oktopost integrates within the prospect’s martech stack and the value it delivers.
- Differentiate Oktopost effectively from competitors with confidence and clarity.
- Maintain feedback loops with Product and Product Marketing to continuously improve collateral and messaging.
- Participate in regular sales syncs to stay aligned on pipeline priorities and strategy.
- Minimum 2 years in a pre sales, solutions engineer, or sales architect role within a SaaS company.
- Experience demonstrating SaaS products in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Comfortable presenting to senior marketing leaders including Directors, VPs, and CMOs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with polished presentation abilities.
- Ability to explain APIs and data flows in practical, business-relevant terms.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot, and Pardot.
- Ability to ask insightful discovery questions and uncover business requirements.
- Working knowledge of infosec protocols and data privacy requirements in SaaS.
- Experience collaborating cross functionally and managing internal stakeholder alignment.
- Accelerating deal velocity through consultative solutioning.
- Improving conversion rates by aligning technical fit with strategic outcomes.
- Building credibility and trust with every interaction.
- Enabling sales teams with the tools and confidence to close decisively.
- Contributing feedback and insights that shape product development and go to market efforts.
If this sounds like the kind of role where you can do your best work, we’d love to connect. Take the next step and show us how you create impact.

You will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales efforts by providing technical expertise and support to the sales team. A large focus will be on outlining and designing integrations while supporting all prospective customer technical questions throughout the prospect’s evaluation.
You will collaborate closely with prospects, understanding their needs, and effectively demonstrating how Constructor's AI-powered ecommerce search and product discovery platform can meet and exceed their expectations. You will be required to develop a deep understanding of Constructor’s search and product discovery platform, its features, capabilities, and integration methods. Our next SE is well-versed in enterprise ecommerce and has experience with Cloud technologies, SaaS, solution design, software development methodology, security requirements, SaaS architectures, and enterprise integrations. You are comfortable presenting to prospects and partners to showcase Constructor’s differentiation and integration methodologies through a technical voice.
Constructor, a 100% remote company, is in the process of building its Solutions (Sales) Engineering team and is seeking individuals who thrive in building out a department, and processes while helping scale out a newer function within the greater organization. This requires a proactive approach to learning and a self-starter mindset especially when faced with ambiguity.
Technical Expertise
This role requires a strong technical foundation. Ideal candidates should have prior experience working with APIs, data structures, and software integrations. While hands-on development experience is not required, former coding experience has been beneficial.
Key technical expectations include:
- Ability to triage API requests using Postman, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings effectively
- Understanding of JavaScript and JSON to interpret challenges
- Comfort explaining AI, data science concepts, and integration methodologies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between engineering and business teams, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving in a technical environment.
What you will do:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products, services, and integration options to prospective customers
- Support tailored Proof Schedules (lightweight POCs) that address specific prospect use cases and highlight the value and benefits of Constructor.io.
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospects, acting as a trusted advisor and technical point of contact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and customer success teams to provide prospect feedback, share market insights, and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
- Work closely with the sales team to strategize and optimize sales approaches, ensuring alignment between prospect requirements and product capabilities.
- Provide industry thought leadership within internal meetings, prospect meetings, webinars, trade shows, etc.
- Confer with prospective customers and engineers to determine system integrations and requirements (ecommerce, PIM, CMS, API integrations, etc.) and map them to the proper Constructor solutions.
- Assist with RFP and RFI responses.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand prospect requirements and serve as a subject matter expert on calls
- Assist with product training for new sales personnel
- Stay up to date on company solutions, documentation, releases, and more
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Leverage this knowledge to identify new business opportunities, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and enhance the company's competitive position.

- Minimum of 3+ years in technical selling and consultancy - being able to work with a range of different advanced products to meet a prospect’s needs (similar roles include but are not limited to Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Consultant, and Solutions Design)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Demonstrated success in supporting the sales process, from initial discovery to closing deals. Understanding of sales methodologies, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
