Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalised company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Market Sales Manager will have ownership of sales of our technology product suite, and key client account management across our product software and services that enable golf clubs to manage their operations efficiently, and drive revenue for the business.
Relationship building, client management and new customer acquisition will be at the core of this role ensuring both growth and retention of existing accounts to increase revenue by product adoption and upselling. The Sales Manager will be revenue focused and contribute to business success through the following key activities and responsibilities;
+ Developing a well-rounded understanding of our sales philosophy, market and customer needs.
+ Build and develop a market sales strategy to drive acquisition and growth.
+ Gaining advanced product knowledge, and that of competitors, to differentiate yourself and GolfNow as both a technical and business fit.
+ Building and leveraging a strong network within and across the industry, working with current clients and identifying and engaging potential new customers with prospects to promote and demonstrate our products and services.
+ Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with established course partners in your region, ensuring their suite of products and services adds value and recognising opportunities to promote additional or new offering.
+ Leveraging technical tools and quantitative data to build strategies that lead both clients and our business to success, high customer satisfaction and ultimately drive renewals and retention.
+ Being results focused in meeting and/or exceeding individual and department metrics and goals, as well as exercising accountability, proactivity and a strong work ethic in driving revenue growth across your region.
+ Follow-through on all commitments to customers ensuring successful internal delivery throughout the customer engagement process.
+ Maintaining accurate daily record of sales and account activity using Salesforce.com and provide territory reports and forecasts.
+ Acting as an ambassador for the business and participating on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences, and/or events that are determined to assist in building client relationships and accelerating sales.
+ Engaging with colleagues internationally to understand and support the growth of a positive company culture in your region, ensuring that core values and "good sportsperson-ship" behaviours are consistently demonstrated.
The successful candidate will report to our International HQ offices in Belfast and ideally reside and work within the Northern Ireland region with willingness to travel as they engage with current and prospective customers across both North and South Ireland.
It is essential that candidates can demonstrate:
+ Extensive professional experience in sales and/or account management in a SAAS role within a relevant industry (eg Sports/ Leisure/ Hospitality).
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated through both virtual and face to face settings.
+ A proven track record of new customer acquisition.
+ A results-oriented mindset and a proven record of achieving targets and objectives.
+ Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM.
+ Experience of analysing, collating and presenting data to support proposals to current and prospective clients.
+ Strong technical understanding with a high comfort level in using web-based, cloud applications.
+ A pro-active, positive attitude and approach with excellent organisational and time management skills.
+ Own car and hold a UK Driving License.
Additional desirable skills and experience:
+ Education to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business/ Marketing/ IT).
+ Knowledge of the golf industry.
+ Established network of industry customers.

Job Description:
The Payments/Fintech Business Consultant will drive and lead the fostering, nurturing, growth and development with our largest and most strategic Financial Technology (Fintech Partners). As a Senior Partner Account Manager, you will establish and maintain C-level, sales, and product relationships with these Fintech Strategic Partners, working with them to drive new significant revenue through customer acquisition into the SMB Market globally (NA, UKI, EU, ZA). You will be responsible for the development of activities to identify, develop, and administer strategic Fintech partnerships to realize key objectives, address unmet market needs, and create significant new revenue streams back to the business. Identify and deliver the vision, strategy, commercial arrangements, contractual agreements and partners for a best-in-class partners' relationship framework to support a growing ecosystem of Strategic Fintech Partnerships that are deeply integrated into the core Sage software offerings. Lead research activities to identify business opportunities, conduct due diligence, and develop plans and strategies to drive current & new relationships. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned strategic partnership account executive that has a proven track record of driving significant revenue within the fintech industry. Sage's commitments to the partner are to deliver, as a result of GTM activities, increasing volume, whilst enabling Sage to achieve scalable new customer growth and accelerated revenue growth.
This is an hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and development of wider Fintech Partnership Strategy. Identify and secure commercial relationships with Fintech ISVs that are fully integrated/delivered as core features of the Sage product set globally. Identify and implement partner integrations in the market.
Revenue Delivery - Achievement of expected new customer adoption, £8-10m in payments revenues and customer goals, the incumbent will define and drive acquisition activities.
Subject Matter Expertise
Stay informed of current local marketplace trends in Fintech and be the SME for internal sage
stakeholders. Contribute to the overall vision, strategy, and execution plan. Collaborate with internal teams to maximize value of partnerships and revenues. Negotiate commercial terms, legal and financial agreements, such as NDA's & MSA's, etc.
Ongoing Relationship Development - Ongoing day to day management of Strategic Fintech Partners that include communication, regarding fintech systems performance, delivery of key product enhancements on the roadmap, planned marketing and demand / lead generation activities and performance of the operating model. Working with the Partner to ensure performance is aligned to agreed contractual terms and revenue targets.
Skills, know-how and experience:
- Undergraduate or 5+ years of work experience in consulting equivalent experience required.
- Consulting Experience: Experience in a consulting role, ideally focused on revenue growth, business transformation, or operational optimisation.
- Proven Track Record: Proven ability to develop end-to-end strategies that drive measurable revenue growth through strategic consulting and effective implementation.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to analyse financial data, market trends, and sales performance to generate actionable insights.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term revenue growth strategies that align with business goals.
- Sales & Marketing Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, customer lifecycle management, and revenue-generating activities.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management experience with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously while driving results.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings and strategies and influence C-suite executives and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify challenges quickly and devise creative, data-backed solutions to drive business performance.
