You’ll be keen to take on a key role within the Data Ops team & own all things Salesforce related, across the technical, data & stakeholder management piece.

Working across the business in this highly visible role, not only is Salesforce used extensively, internally, but they are also major Salesforce partners & are embedded into the Salesforce Ecosystem.

Mainly, you should be a technical expert in Salesforce but also have the functional soft skills to make sure that the architecture & business requirements are effectively translated into reality.

Role title: Salesforce Architect. Senior Salesforce Developer.

Location: Central London – but largely irrelevant as this role is 98% remote . 1 day per month in the London office for a team meetup & lunch. Realistically, within a 2-3 London commute is probably sensible!

Salary: £85K - 90K + 10% Bonus + Extensive benefits package.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions. As a Salesforce Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Salesforce platform strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives and drives innovation. You will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design:

o Develop and maintain a comprehensive Salesforce architecture roadmap, including data models, integrations, and customizations.

o Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure Salesforce solutions across various clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).

o Create detailed technical design documents, architectural diagrams, and data flow diagrams.

o Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Platform Expertise & Leadership:

o Maintain deep expertise in the Salesforce platform and stay up-to-date with the latest releases and features.

o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them on best practices and design patterns.

o Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce technologies and tools to support business requirements.

o Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards and governance policies.

• Integration & Data Management:

o Design and implement complex integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.

o Develop data migration strategies and ensure data quality and integrity.

o Design and optimize data models to meet business requirements and performance goals.

o Ensure proper data governance and security practices.

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:

o Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

o Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

o Present architectural solutions and recommendations to senior management.

o Facilitate workshops to gather requirements.

• Security & Compliance:

o Ensure that Salesforce solutions comply with security and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

o Design and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

o Conduct security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• (Number) + years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.

• Extensive experience with Salesforce platform configuration, customization, and development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce).

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns.
