The Role
We are looking for a subject matter expert for SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module and advise on best practice business processes in line with the system capabilities and complex system changes.
The role will optimise client functions by delivering complex end-end implementations, upgrades, enhancements and offer support for related solutions and The Config Team products. The position will provide support, coaching, development, and guidance to colleagues and at times lead project teams.
Act as a key customer representative and subject matter expert for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and business processes, attending and leading meetings when required.
Provide guidance to colleagues on system design, build and complex configuration.
Guide and assist colleagues on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), business process knowledge, testing, documentation, end-user training and customer go-lives.
To provide a level of strategic advice to customers for system design.
To design, build and implement scalable and complex SAP customer solutions aligned with industry best practices.
To develop a strong understanding of client operations and make well-founded suggestions for improvement through the use of SAP technology and other technology products.
Give trusted advice and explain standard SAP configuration within SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and the impact of changes upon solutions and/or business process.
To complete solution testing and issue resolution, complex configuration and act as a key representative for customers during go-live support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
Lead the creation and completion of blueprint documentation.
Independently put together complex, accurate and suitable functional specifications.
Work alongside technical teams and assist with the production of bespoke system changes.
Keep up to date with the latest SAP technology.
Maintain awareness of policies including ISO within department, keeping up to date with any changes and complete all required training in a timely manner.

Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years hands-on SAP SD experience.
Strong understanding of order-to-cash (OTC) processes.
Has been involved with and led multiple end to end SAP project life cycles.
S/4 Hana experience.
Fiori experience.
An expert functional understanding and experience of delivering standard and complex configuration in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
Able to provide a level of strategic system advice.
Able to integrate with different and complex SAP modules, particularly the Material Management (MM) Module.
Experienced with and can lead system testing.
Experienced in SAP SD Master Data Delivery, use of data migration tools and able to support data migration activities.
Able to create, advise and guide on functional specifications.
Experienced in leading, facilitating and contributing to project workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
Proven experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
Proficient in Microsoft office tools including Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Desired Skills
Experience of implementing mobile solutions either in SAP ITS or using a Third Party Product with SAP.
Experience of integrating SAP SD with CRM systems.
Experience in implementing and SAP Certified in Cloud and AI technologies.
Experience in implementing other SAP Modules such as Material Management (MM) or Quality Management (QM).
