My Local Authority client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented SAP Technology Workstream Lead on a Contract basis.

The role will cover all aspects of Technology delivery for the programme, including, and not limited to Data Migration, Archiving, Reporting, Design Authority, Legacy System Decommissioning, SAP System Support and Integration.

About the role:

Based in Central London (Hybrid - 3 days on site):

  • Ensure leadership alignment and understanding of the Technology workstream ambition, strategic direction, and roadmap to mobilise Technology-wide resources and support.
  • Lead on the implementation phase of the delivery of Technology-related activity and will work collaboratively with other workstream leads across the wider programme.

  • A strong understanding of the current and emerging technology landscape, preferably including SAP technologies.
  • Credibility both at a senior level and broadly across the organisation - comfortable reporting into and engaging with senior executives and advising on progress and challenges

Skills Required

  • Experience of implementing Clean Core ABAP Programming, CDS Views, FIORI Element reports & Adobe Forms.
  • Experience with a selection of other development objects, for example Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway, Data Services, CDS Views, ABAP for HANA, Forms, Reports or performance tuning is advantageous
  • Experience of SAP PO/PI is useful
  • Strong customer focus with good client facing consulting capability as roles are working collaboratively with our clients, and on behalf of our clients with their suppliers
  • Perform testing of system changes and to assist in user testing of changes
  • Participate in knowledge sharing with colleagues in SAP technical and related client business matters
  • Playing an active part in Process Improvement, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records
