The School and Role:
We are seeking Pre-School Assistants (Level 2/3) to work full time in a Pre-School in Eastbourne, East Sussex. You will nurture and stimulate children aged 2-5 while fostering academic, personal, and social growth. This Pre-School Assistant position is Monday to Friday the hours will be 8:30am-3:30pm. You will be joining a very hard-working, dedicated and friendly team that are very passionate to give the children the start to their education by teaching them independance as well as teamwork. - Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Childcare or equivalent (is essential)

- Utilising both indoor and outdoor learning spaces to enhance children experiences.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
- Supporting with meal times.
- General tidying such as cleaning away meals, activities and general pupil hygiene: wiping noses etc.
- Working with the existing team collaboratively.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 CACHE Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or pre-school setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and best practices in Early Years education.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours & Benefits:
This is a full-time, all-year-round position, meaning we are open throughout school holidays. We offer two working patterns to choose from:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay will fall between 13.88- 14.50 per hour.
