**Position Overview:**
Contribute to the research and development of medical technologies and devices aimed at improving patient outcomes. The primary focus is to support the Dressing Technology Development team in executing concept development, testing and data analysis of medical devices ensuring they meet high standards of quality. This role involves working on a diverse range of design concepts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in the design, development and testing of new medical devices.
+ Conduct laboratory experiments for research and development of new concepts and existing products.
+ Perform research to provide a foundation of knowledge and apply this to improve experimental design and methodologies.
+ Develop prototypes and new test methods to assess opportunities.
+ Collect, record and analyse laboratory data accurately, using appropriate tools, software and statistical methods to interpret results and draw conclusions.
+ Maintain clear and organized records of experimental procedures, results and observations.
+ Present findings to the team and wider colleagues.
+ Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas for product development.
+ Contribute to the calibration and maintenance of the lab equipment ensuring compliance.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Research and develop new and existing products to take to market
- The four pillars of this role include: Product Strategy & Planning, Research, Product Management, Cross-functional Collaboration
- Overseeing the whole process from Research, concept, specification, prototyping, and final product manufacturing
- Improve their current product lines, and help develop new products
- Market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the competition, and identify new market opportunities
- Project Management responsibilities- liaising with stakeholders and customers, and setting and adhering to time frames
- Liaise with design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure completion of tasks
