*Team/ Role Paragraph:* Coinbase is looking for a seasoned Program Manager to join our Security Programs team, leading the end-to-end delivery of critical compliance and security initiatives across EMEA. *What you'll be doing (ie. job duties):*
* Lead EMEA-focused security programmes by designing, launching and managing comprehensive compliance tracks across multiple jurisdictions, while liaising daily with U.S. shared-service partners
* Drive 1st- and 2nd-line security programs in risk, controls, operations to chart a clear path to achieve business outcomes under MiCA, DORA, BAIT, GDPR and local frameworks
* Collaborate with Information Security and Technology Risk and Controls teams to identify and manage risks, evolve controls, ensure compliance with applicable frameworks (SOX, SOC2 and ISO27001) and meet business objectives
* Own the roadmap by defining success metrics, adoption targets and delivery milestones; monitor progress using both qualitative insights and quantitative KPIs
* Identify cross-functional blockers proactively, assess impacts, and present clear mitigation plans to senior leadership
* Continuously refine security templates, playbooks and metrics so they remain simple, repeatable and scalable across new markets
* Mentor and grow a diverse team of program managers and contractors across EMEA and support the buildout of APAC
*What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):*
* 8+ years in programme or project management roles, with 5+ years in *security, risk or compliance*
* 3+ years managing and developing high-performing teams; excellent leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold a distributed team accountable.
* Native-level fluency in English, with proven ability to translate complex security and risk concepts for a predominantly U.S.-based leadership and engineering audience
* Proven track record in a highly regulated ecosystem such as FinTech, payments or financial services
* Hands-on experience managing outsourced security providers and tracking SLAs/KPIs to ensure delivery
* Deep familiarity with EMEA frameworks (MiCA, DORA, BAIT, GDPR) and experience implementing cyber/security frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC2, ISO27001)
* Strong ability to design straightforward processes that flex to solve novel challenges and evolving regulations
* Excellent at distilling complex security risks into clear, concise updates for both technical teams and C-level stakeholders

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Security Operations Engineer to strengthen and scale our security posture as we grow. This is a hands-on, proactive role focused on detecting threats, managing risk, and embedding security best practices across our infrastructure, application, and operational environments.

You’ll work closely with engineering and compliance teams to ensure our systems are secure by design, resilient to threats, and aligned with best-in-class standards (including ISO 27001 and SOC 2). You’ll play a key role in monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and secure DevOps practices—helping us maintain customer trust and regulatory compliance as we scale.

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor systems and infrastructure for potential vulnerabilities, threats, and breaches
  • Own and improve incident detection, response, and recovery processes
  • Implement and manage SIEM, intrusion detection, vulnerability scanners, and other security tooling
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • Manage processes for regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (internal or third-party)
  • Support internal audits, ISO 27001 compliance, and customer security questionnaires
  • Maintain documentation and training to improve security awareness and operational readiness

Stay ahead of evolving threats and maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive experience in security operations roles, preferably in SaaS or cloud-native environments
  • Proficiency in security monitoring tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management tools, and log aggregation platforms
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
  • Proven incident response, threat detection, and investigation experience
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), identity & access management, and secure networking
  • Scripting or automation experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Clear, proactive communicator with a collaborative mindset

VIQU have partnered with a global retail leader headquartered in Dubai, who are looking for a strategic Senior Security Operations Manager to lead and build their cyber security function. This is a high-impact, greenfield role where you’ll define and deliver the cyber operations strategy, manage third-party vendors (including a SOC), and develop an internal team to support a fast-scaling, digitally driven business. With a large global workforce and an ambitious technology agenda, cyber security sits at the core of their future growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Security Operations Manager:

  • Own and define the cyber security operations strategy across the business, aligned to wider Group objectives
  • Lead and manage the internal team, and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors including the SOC providers
  • Build and embed incident response plans, playbooks, and operational standards for the function

  • Prior hands-on experience in security engineering or architecture is highly desirable

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Operations Lead to join our Cybersecurity Investigations team. This role is pivotal in managing technical operations and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our digital assets through proactive and reactive cybersecurity measures. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate with our global leads and client partners to successfully deliver the UK Timezone of a global service team.


This role is 100% remote, based in the U.K. with flexible hours required to support global operations. The role reports into our US-based Service Delivery team and works closely with clients based in the U.K. and and US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership by mentoring and developing a team of cybersecurity professionals, focusing on building a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing work environment through effective management of performance, recruitment, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Actively build and develop the capabilities of team members through the design and execution of training programs, and by dedicating daily time to quality assurance activities such as reviewing individual ticket handling, providing constructive feedback, and identifying skill gaps for targeted development.
  • Oversee all daily technical operations within the Cybersecurity Investigations team by ensuring established client security protocols are rigorously followed.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of incident response and forensic investigations through following the client parameters while also proactively making suggestions for process improvement.
  • Manage long-term initiatives for the global team to include global alignment projects, development of processes and standards, change management of processes, reporting and other requests by clients.
  • Stay abreast of new investigation types and ensure the team has all applicable investigation skills to perform at an adequate level.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between the client team and the UK Based Cybersecurity Investigations team and other departments, facilitating communication and cooperation, preparing detailed reports and presentations on security trends, incident status, and risk mitigation for senior management.
  • Monitor scheduling to meet baseline standards, handle attendance, timecard tracking and ensure that team members are following applicable laws and regulations in their country.
  • Escalate performance and team morale concerns to delivery managers and people experience team for support and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a similar role (hands-on technical experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of active investigator experience in an IR team, preferably in global enterprise environment
  • Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, IAM).
  • Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, SAS, Sandboxes, EDR solutions and cloud technologies).
  • Working of knowledge of access control principles, cloud technologies (CNAPP, CSPM), data retention, and encryption methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative mindset, and communication skills.
  • Experience presenting at a program level for clients and/or cross functional partners
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Preferred, active participation in cybersecurity communities or forums.
  • Preferred, knowledge of programming languages (including database queries)
  • Preferred, forensic investigation experience
