As our Information Security Management Specialist (m/f/d) , you'll provide experienced support in the implementation and management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework in alignment of current ISO 27001 standard and guidelines. With a focus on cybersecurity, this role involves leading risk assessments, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations, and following information security practices and policies.

What you will do

  • Contribute to implementation, maintenance along with continuous improvement and associated instructional documentation of ISMS and its controls in line with the requirements of ISO 27001:2022 and similar standards.
  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of ISO 27001:2022 standard as well as all Information Security requirements with respect to laws, regulations, client requirements, NTT DATA and Group requirements including active participation in internal and external ISMS audits.
  • Support in information security audits, performed by organization or third-party personnel.
  • Ensure that IT systems are assessed against Information Security criteria and operate in compliance with the instructional Information Security documentation.
  • Conduct company-wide gap assessment of ISMS clauses and control implementation.
  • Ensure vulnerability management, tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to set Information security standard for Cyber Security 
  • Support in preparing management Information Security reports and dashboards.
  • Review and respond to customer Service Agreements/RFPs/RFIs with respect to Information Security related clauses/questionnaires.
  • Actively participate in Information Security External certification audits, internal audits, and gap assessments.
  • Perform other security related task as required.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science degree or related field.
  • Information Security certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CEH, COBIT or equivalent preferred.
  • Fluent in English, Multilingual skills are an advantage.
  • Skilled proficiency in conducting risk assessments, analyzing security controls, and policy management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills for handling security initiatives.
  • Strong familiarity with aspects related to information security.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and further relevant standards.

Your Time at Work

You will report to the Security Control Room Team Leader and are expected to contribute to strategic direction, operational support and improve our values and outcome focused way of working.

Your duties will include:

- Provide a high-quality service to support branches/offices and achieve customer satisfaction which is an essential element of the role
- Monitor the Intruder/Personal Attack and Premises alarm systems installed throughout the network and manage the response to alarms to ensure police are not called to false activations
- Provide the correct response to various types of incidents involving criminal activity against staff, premises, and value assets
- Provide security guidance to staff as and when required and help manage security incidents
- Respond to CCTV requests from numerous stakeholders including police forces, fraud departments and local branches
- Provide support to the Global Protective Security strategy as well as day-to-day business and new initiatives across HSBC sites in the region
- Operate, monitor, and maintain the physical and electronic protection systems installed within the branch/office network to ensure a quality service is provided
- Provide telephone support and technical expertise to the branch/office network and efficiently manage the alarm systems

- Prior experience in a security related role and/or financial institution is essential
- Prior experience in a security control room environment is desirable
- Good knowledge and understanding of security control procedures and systems is essential

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

* 8+ years in programme or project management roles, with 5+ years in *security, risk or compliance*
* 3+ years managing and developing high-performing teams; excellent leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold a distributed team accountable.
* Native-level fluency in English, with proven ability to translate complex security and risk concepts for a predominantly U.S.-based leadership and engineering audience
* Proven track record in a highly regulated ecosystem such as FinTech, payments or financial services
* Hands-on experience managing outsourced security providers and tracking SLAs/KPIs to ensure delivery
* Deep familiarity with EMEA frameworks (MiCA, DORA, BAIT, GDPR) and experience implementing cyber/security frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC2, ISO27001)

**Job Description:**
This outstanding role focuses on safeguarding our world-class team and assets at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As the Sr. Manager, Risk Management, you will be identifying, analyzing, and implementing solutions to protect our personnel, information, and property. Your validated expertise in physical security, risk assessment, investigations, and threat management will be essential in preventing workplace violence.
**The Sr. Manager must:**
+ Collaborate effectively with various collaborator groups and in a cross-functional capacity.
+ Identify gaps and risks in the Global Security program and build action/mitigation plans.
+ Handle real-time risk assessment and mitigation of threats in both traditional and virtual environments.
+ Develop global security policies, standards, procedures, training, and awareness programs.
+ Conduct M&A due diligence assessments while maintaining confidentiality.
+ Assess and update the current security site inspection program, including inspecting locations, working with on-site teams, and tracking mitigation actions.
+ Apply the security case management system for tracking and logging investigations, site inspections, and action items.
+ Support the training of employees and locations regarding security protocols.
+ Maintain and leverage technical tools to handle wireless threats.
+ Investigate security violations, crises, unsafe acts, and coordinate mitigation strategies.
+ Work closely with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), EHS, and other collaborators on crisis response.
+ Liaison with external industry resources such as law enforcement and emergency responders.
+ Coordinate logistics for Executive Protection travel.
+ Develop travel security protocols and training for high-risk destinations.
**Qualifications**
+ 12+ years of experience in security, risk management, travel security, workplace violence management, and executive protection.
+ Prior corporate security experience preferred.
+ Prior Law Enforcement experience preferred.
+ Strong understanding of Duty of Care laws and concepts.
+ Vendor management experience strongly preferred.
+ Knowledge and certification in Threat Assessment methodology strongly preferred.
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Criminal Justice, Information Systems, Security Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
+ Former Law Enforcement experience preferred.
