You will work to identify potential security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with other IT teams to integrate security measures into network design and operations is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and common network security technologies, is required. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and penetration testing is a plus. You must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are vital for this role.
