**What You'll Do**

**Who You'll Work With**
You will leverage relationships with the broader partner teams, including within the Global Security Sales Organization; Theatre Partner Business Manager teams, and Global Partner Route to Market Sales Organizations, to help our strategic partners in a joint go-to-market motion to accelerate cyber security sales with an emphasis driving the successful adoption of the partner's investment in managed security services powered by Cisco.
You will expand relationships with these strategic partners, at leadership levels to increase awareness and seller participation. You will accomplish this through tight alignment, ongoing enablement, and the creation of sales plays to help remove friction and support partner and Cisco differentiation in portfolio as well as market.

Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco's flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Based at our head office sites in Coventry this role is responsible for monitoring our CCTV systems and responding to incidents accordingly. Itll liaise with key agencies and make use of computerised systems to maintain our sites to the highest security standards. One of the main aims will be to ensure that all electronic systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, processes and procedures meet the required service levels and the security needs of our organisation.
Being responsible for completing security site patrols as a mobile security officer and visit business premises as required are important tasks. Monitoring and operating intruder alarm systems and responding to any activation, as well as being a first point of contact for all security related incidents will also be key.
Part of the role will be providing excellent customer service as the role will liaise with members of staff and external parties. Keeping up to date with regulations and changes will be key as well as supporting your management team with department administration, maintaining security audit, incident and compliance management information,
Our Security Operations Centre operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. The shift pattern includes days and nights, using 12 hours shifts, with 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off.

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
This position is responsible for assisting the Director-Security Services in providing effective security for American Express facilities, its employees, contractors, visitors and customers. Based in Brighton, responsible for the protection of our people and offices in John Street, Brighton and Sussex House, Burgess Hill, Sussex.
+ Coordinate and provide effective security coverage by co-managing an outsourced Security workforce and by directly supervising all administrative support staff, supervisors, officers and console operators.
+ Ensure that the staff is kept fully informed of all security policies, procedures and techniques by developing, implementing and conducting training as appropriate.
+ With the Director-Security Services, develop, communicate and enforce security policy rules and regulations covering the handling of both routine and emergency security matters.

+ Supervise the handling of security breaches by assigning and following up on all investigations pertaining to such matters as bomb threats, thefts and other suspicious activities.
+ In conjunction with the Director-Security Services, develop and maintain effective working relationships with representatives of Sussex Police, South East Counter Terrorism Unit and other local agencies to ensure a high degree of cooperation and support from these agencies when the need arises.
+ Work closely with the local facilities teams to ensure that proper security coverage is provided.
+ Ensure adequate security coverage for special events both within and outside the facility by scheduling staff.
+ Coordinate and manage the ID Badging process (photos, data input, access authorization, etc.) to control and monitor all physical access to facilities.
+ Keep the local Leadership Team apprised of significant issues through the timely preparation of statistical and administrative reports addressing major or impactful security issues.
+ Assist in conducting risk assessments of proposed and existing facilities to design, recommend and implement a security program.
+ The position is on call 24/7/365 and must have strong, effective leadership skills to handle emergency situations to ensure the safety of employees, contractors and visitors on site.
+ Willing to travel within the EMEA Region to undertake Executive and Event Protection duties; or undertake physical site reviews.
+ Live near Brighton, able to respond quickly to Sussex based incidents.
+ Be a member of the UK Crisis Response Team, managing incidents impacting our people, operations and brand image.
**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Supervise personnel responsible for monitoring facility access, doing security rounds, monitoring alarm and surveillance equipment.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Previous job experience is required; ideal candidates will have at least 5 years' experience (e.g., military, law enforcement, physical security).
+ Supervisory experience in security management a plus.
+ Some background in electronics and/or engineering would be helpful.
+ Professional certification in security management or physical security a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Bachelor's or other 4-year degree is strongly preferred. Relevant fields of study include business, criminal justice, and social sciences.
