Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, metrology) to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues to minimize downtime and maximize yield.
- Lead root cause analysis for process excursions and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with equipment engineers to maintain and upgrade production tools.
- Work with the R&D team to transfer new technologies and processes into high-volume manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on process technologies and methodologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Six Sigma projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
- Analyze data from various sources (SPC, test results, equipment logs) to drive informed decisions.
- Contribute to capacity planning and production forecasting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related high-tech industry.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Excel).
- Experience with yield enhancement and process optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
