  • Advise AI/ML engineering and product teams on incorporating ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for responsible AI governance and accountability.
  • Stay abreast of evolving AI ethics research, regulatory landscapes, and industry standards globally.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and policy teams to ensure alignment with regulations and corporate values.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to promote ethical AI awareness and capabilities within the organization.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including academics, ethicists, and civil society groups, to foster dialogue and share insights.
  • Contribute to the company's public statements and thought leadership on AI ethics.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant field such as Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science with an AI/ML focus, Law, or Social Sciences with a focus on technology.
  • Significant experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology ethics, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and their societal implications.
  • Proven ability to develop practical ethical frameworks and operationalize ethical principles.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI governance, bias detection/mitigation, and privacy-preserving techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a remote environment.
