With a strong focus on in-house development and automation, they're looking to hire a SQL Database Developer to support their growing infrastructure and help build the tools that power day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with a collaborative development team to maintain and evolve internal systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability across the business.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

This role is fully office-based along with the rest of the business, who pride themselves on their collaborative culture, and where you'll have the ability to literally see the impact of your work every single day. As such, you must live within a commutable distance of Melksham.
You will work within a team of other Software and SQL Developers, to manage and further develop various in-house platforms and tools. Everything runs on stored procedures, so the ability to create, execute and maintain these is the core skill we are looking for, with programming experience in .NET being a plus.
You'll be involved in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency - whether it's reducing waste, enhancing customer experience, or streamlining internal processes - there is always something new to get involved in. They have a real culture of continuous improvement, and you'll play a key role in driving new projects forward.
You will bring experience in:
- Microsoft SQL Server - specifically, writing complex queries and stored procedures
- Experience in .NET is advantageous but not essential - please apply even if you don't have this!
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- A keenness to be in the office 5 days a week and collaborate with others
You will be rewarded with:
- Salary - from 50-75,000 depending on level of experience
- Annual salary review
- Pension - 5% employee and 3% employer contribution
- Annual leave - 20 days plus bank holidays plus a "bonus week" to be taken as either annual leave or exchanged for additional pay
- Flexible working hours
