Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for optimisation.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refine production layouts, workflows, and material handling systems.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and resource allocation analysis.
  • Design and implement performance measurement systems and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineered solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior industrial engineers and technical staff.
  • Develop business cases for capital investments in new equipment and process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience as an Industrial Engineer, with a proven track record of leading significant improvement initiatives.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other process optimisation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in simulation software, CAD, and other industrial engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in diverse manufacturing environments is advantageous.
