Part of Xodus Group, Evolv Energies is at the forefront of major international projects where we bring a unique, integrated perspective and specialist engineering expertise to support offshore developers, investors and the wider construction and installation supply chain through Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design and also across Construction and Installation activities, predominately in relation to offshore wind, interconnectors and energy transition projects.
Role: Our Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers will have the ability to work on a variety of project scopes including, offshore wind (fixed and floating), and subsea cables (transmission and distribution) projects. You will be accountable for the delivery of assigned project engineering scopes (including tendering and delivery) with the opportunity to be either technically focused or equally for those progressing towards project management.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities include:- Leading assigned project engineering and package management deliverables on international projects.
- Lead and provide project engineering input into tenders and project deliverables.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as TA’s, SME’s and other discipline Engineers.
- Ensuring projects and tenders are delivered in accordance with both Evolv Energies and Client engineering requirements whilst equally ensuring quality assurance throughout.
- Working effectively on several projects concurrently to deliver challenging targets.
- Working collaboratively with our multi-disciplined engineering team.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with a background in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Surveying or Marine Operations with a strong engineering and operational knowledge and experience in Marine / Offshore construction projects and operations associated with offshore wind and ideally subsea cable projects.
- Must have demonstrable expertise in the offshore renewables sector and detailed understanding of engineering and operational deliverables through project development, delivery and operations & maintenance. Knowledge of CDM would be a bonus.
- Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation and to key stakeholders out with the organisation.
- A can do proactive attitude with a proven history of interfacing and collaborating across multi-discipline teams to support decision making and due diligence process and achieve outcomes.

How you will do it
The role involves managing projects from initial handover to completion, ensuring a seamless lifecycle. Part of the role will be to prepare and submit the programme of works at the outset, with regular updates to reflect actual and projected progress.
The role also includes the creation of project-related documentation and the distribution of all necessary documents to relevant parties, securing approval from the Client or their representative.
Collaboration with panel manufacturers and electrical installers is essential to ensure that all work aligns with E2 Services Ltd (Johnson Controls subsidiary) and Client requirements. Additionally, the role involves configuring software strategies or coordinating with other E2 Services Limited engineers to ensure software configuration aligns with the Description of Operation.
Supervising graphics creation when necessary, providing support to site commissioning engineers and the maintenance department, and carrying out commissioning works on live sites are key responsibilities. Finally, the role includes organising handovers and demonstrations upon project completion.
What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates proficient with either Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Johnson Controls Metasys or Easy IO and have at least 5 years’ experience
Good understanding of the control applications and mechanical principles
Be able to understand and implement the latest networking protocols and possess a good understanding of IT principles
Preferably the right candidate will have come from an electrical background or have experience of working with live systems
