Hours: Position 1: 22 hours per week Position 2: 24 hours per week
Level: Plumbing and Heating Levels 2 City and Guilds 8802
Position 1 - Phase 1 and 2 Apprentice City & Guilds 9289
Position 2 - Phase 3 and 4 Apprentice City & Guilds 9189
Location: Canterbury
Pay rate: 24-39 per hour depending on experience
Skills/knowledge required:
For both positions you need knowledge of the above listed qualifications and the process of moderation and completing the written reports for City & Guilds.
For position 2 you need previous teaching experience with Phase 3 apprentices, and need knowledge of ACS gas test or BPEC.
Knowledge of Smart assessor would be desirable.
Specific Qualifications required:
For both position;
Plumbing level 3
TAQA level 3 or equivalent (A1 assessors)
For Position 2 only
You need to be Gas safe registered
You need a Gas qualification either ACS or BPEC.
As a Lecturer you will teach, train and assess students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and to lead as appropriate on designated study programmes and/or courses, with a key responsibility for ensuring the design, delivery and evaluation of programme.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service, however we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case.

ADE is seeking to expand its team of hourly paid lecturers teaching on business and entrepreneurship modules across our undergraduate portfolio of programmes. We are looking for experienced and entrepreneurial industry practitioners and educators who can help our students develop the business acumen and skills needed to be successful in the music industry. Knowledge and experience of digital marketing and social media, branding, rights management and licensing, content creation, and music release campaign planning are especially valuable.
Candidates will have excellent technical knowledge and an ability to engage and connect with students across all undergraduate levels and musical interests. You will have a credible professional/industry profile, evidence of high quality teaching practice, and experience in the delivery of further or higher education programmes. A degree in a relevant discipline is expected. Teaching and/or postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.

- Achieved or willingness to work towards a Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification.
