As the Energy Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for checking and processing energy bills , making sure they match contracts and usage data, handle and investigate any discrepancies and queries and provide support to both colleagues and external partners to ensure a seamless energy service . Key responsibilities for the Energy Management Coordinator:
- Receive, process, and validate invoices and credit notes from energy suppliers
- Upload energy bills and usage data into systems and perform manual checks where necessary
- Investigate and log any discrepancies, following up to resolution
- Communicate with members, suppliers, and colleagues to resolve issues efficiently
- Assist with monthly reporting and ensure all records are accurate and up to date
- Manage export energy contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring timely member payments
- Support onboarding of new energy contracts and help improve processes
Skills and Experience required for the Energy Management Coordinator:
- Previous experience in energy, utilities, or bill validation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of energy bills and ability to check them against contracts or previous data
- Skilled at analysing large data sets, confident with numbers and solving complex problems
- Proficient to advanced user of Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with processes and systems
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Well-organised and methodical, with a calm and measured approach to problem-solving
