Our contract catering client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and driving continuous improvement across our finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyse monthly management accounts li>Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insight into financial performance.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Work with operational teams to provide financial support and guidance.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and business initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Strong experience in management accounting
- Excellent knowledge of balance sheet preparation and reconciliation.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.

You will be responsible for preparing the Trial Balance on schedule and providing excellent support to the Financial Control function.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting or AAT qualification.

- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (desirable).
