Our contract catering client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and driving continuous improvement across our finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyse monthly management accounts
  • li>Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insight into financial performance.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Work with operational teams to provide financial support and guidance.
  • Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and business initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in management accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of balance sheet preparation and reconciliation.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
