They are now looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their team and duties will include;-
* Produce management accounts in accordance with company procedures and deadlines.
* Ensure the junior accounts staff are trained to the appropriate level.
* Monitor completion of purchase ledger and sales ledger.
* Ensure bank reconciliations are processed daily.
* Ensure all inter company accounts are processed in line with company policy.
* Ensure stock valuations are accurate and produced as directed.
* Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.
* Prepare Year End accounts for statutory purposes.
* Assist departmental managers in the formation for annual budgeted expenses.
* Ensure the quarterly VAT reconciliations are completed.

Your new role
- Support month-end financial close, including preparation of results and management commentary.

- Optimise accounting systems (Xero) and evaluate additional financial tools.

What you'll need to succeed
- Looking for a CIMA, ACCA or ACA studier.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and prior experience supporting the month-end processes.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (Xero preferred).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is desirable.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and confident, working independently in a small team.
