Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to oversee delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure schemes as part of the Southern Water AMP8 framework . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major Tier 1 contractor and play a key role in delivering complex, high-value projects in the regulated water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery across multiple sites, from design through to construction and handover.
Lead project teams including engineering, commercial, planning, and site delivery personnel.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality standards.
Liaise with Southern Water, supply chain partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment with programme goals.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage change effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee compliance with CDM, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Report progress, commercial performance, and delivery status to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of AMP frameworks and regulated water industry delivery.
Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor - essential .
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
APM, PRINCE2 , or similar project management qualification - desirable.
CSCS and SMSTS - desirable.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial awareness.
