Reporting into the Streetworks & Planning Manager, the Planner is the key contact before works for the operational team. They have full accountability for the planning & streetworks aspects of all works before they commence on site.
The Planner will ensure that all operational teams are able to undertake their work in line with the received push plans and requested dates as well as compliant with NRSWA and ensure that timescales are adhered to minimising any financial impact to the company. They will maintain the below aspects of the process.

Role Description
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Project Planner to work in our regional offices/ UK head office and join our site-based teams on projects. (please note this will be an office and/or a site-based role 5 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional, ideally a recent graduate in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, who has 1–2 years of experience in large-scale industrial construction projects (data centres, advanced manufacturing, or similar).

When operational issues arise, you'll be responsible for understanding the current status and providing detailed updates through daily tier meetings. You'll also work with the Operations team to validate recovery plans and manage demand and supply variances through the SRO exception process.
Maintaining accurate inventory levels in our ERP system will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will coordinating with Technical, Engineering, and Operations teams to understand and mitigate distressed inventory risks. You'll also support Quality and Operations in managing lots under investigation or on quality hold, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving new product introductions, supplier changes, and process improvements.
