Job Description

Product Director — AI Brand Presence Platform

Location: UK - Remote friendly

The company

A fast growing AI marketing analytics startup is building a category-defining platform for brand presence in the age of consumer AI assistants. With billions of monthly assistant users and spend shifting away from traditional media, their product helps global brands understand and improve how large language models present them across the funnel.

The team has released an initial product with design partners in beauty and personal care and is expanding the roadmap based on customer needs and rapid marketplace change. The platform programmatically injects thousands of queries into major LLMs to capture, audit, score and interpret responses. Outputs include share of voice by funnel stage, indexation against category attributes, competitive deep dives and recommended actions across priority sources such as Reddit, Amazon and YouTube. There is a clear twelve month path to profit and multiple potential exit paths.

The role

They are hiring a mission driven Product Director to own product definition, UX and the commercial roadmap for an AI brand visibility platform. This person will translate LLM outputs into clear business actions and revenue impact for brand and agency customers. The role suits someone who has played both product manager and product designer and enjoys shaping an early product and its P and L.

A critical part of the role is getting close to jobs to be done across brand and agency users and using market signals to set product priorities.

What you will do

  • Own the product roadmap balancing customer needs, technical feasibility and market signals
  • Work daily with the CTO, engineering and data science on prioritisation and delivery
  • Lead sprint planning and capacity management with story points and velocity tracking
  • Turn backend scoring into intuitive dashboards with frontend and data engineers
  • Partner with the CEO and early customers on use cases, personas and feature priorities
  • Create and iterate wireframes and prototypes in tools such as Figma, Webflow, Framer or Lovable
  • Own product P and L levers including conversion flows, pricing, usage thresholds and feature gating
  • Track competitive behaviour across assistants and tooling and feed this into roadmap choices
  • Build internal systems for feature scoring, feedback triage and rapid experimentation

What they are looking for

  • 3 to 6 years in product management in SaaS or MarTech
  • Evidence of owning roadmaps end to end from insight to launch to iteration
  • Strong UX sensibility with hands on interface design skills
  • Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini and how consumers use them
  • Working knowledge of sources that LLMs draw from including Reddit, Amazon, YouTube and Wikipedia
  • Fluent English and clear communication with technical and commercial stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Background in designing analytics tools or complex dashboards
  • Experience running sprints, backlog grooming and capacity in Agile or Scrum
  • Startup experience in teams under ten or as a solo PM
  • Comfort with lightweight user research and interviews
  • Experience designing SaaS pricing models or optimising freemium flows
  • Understanding of prompt design and evaluation frameworks such as LangChain or OpenRouter

Why join

  • Work on a unique AI marketing platform influencing a trillion dollar brand ecosystem
  • Join a founding team with prior MarTech success and clear value creation plans
  • Contribute to a product already used by well known brands and noticed by potential acquirers
  • Flexible work in Portugal with competitive early stage equity
