The role…
We are looking for a passionate journalist with an interest in the energy industry to write across a range of sites and digital magazines in our energy portfolio.
The successful candidate will produce news and features for our Power, Offshore (Oil and Gas) and Mining Technology publications. They will attend events and press briefings regularly and cultivate lively and engaging discussions with readers through our social media channels.

The Telegraph is looking for an ambitious journalist to join its growing business team.
The business team covers everything from scandal and intrigue at Britain’s biggest companies to the macroeconomic trends that are reshaping business, such as the cost of living crisis and new regulatory requirements.
The main focus of the role will be the consumer and leisure industries, delivering agenda-setting scoops and in-depth features. Working closely with the Retail Editor, you will be expected to develop top contacts in the hospitality industry, spanning restaurants and pubs to high-end hotels, the gambling industry and consumer goods. OVERVIEW
The Reporter, CNBC Pro will generate compelling news stories and original reporting covering European markets, as well as helping to run our live blog. The ideal candidate will have strong reporting and research skills, mathematics proficiency, a good foundational understanding of markets, and a knack for making complex subjects interesting, pointed and relatable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Pitch, report and write digital articles that will become destination reading for people involved in markets and finance, or who wish to gain a greater understanding of the industry.

+ Collate and analyse financial markets data for news stories, features, blog posts and other content on the site.

+ Develop high-level contacts who will be able to confirm and deny rumours
+ Experiment with exciting ways to deliver C+D's award-winning content, including videos and podcasts
