Job Description
With Intelligence is seeking a talented journalist to help spearhead the expansion of our market-leading asset management coverage into Infrastructure.
The role will involve covering some of the biggest global infrastructure asset managers at a hugely exciting time for the sector, with public policies across multiple regions driving growth and innovation and higher interest rates impacting demand and performance across a range of strategies.
You will be charged with uncovering exclusive intelligence on new launches, fund innovations and growth strategies at a wide range of asset management companies. You’ll need to be on top of who is winning assets and why, as well as who is faltering, shutting down or switching tactics.
You’ll track the ups and downs of fund performance and how managers are evolving their fund terms and structures to attract a wider array of investors that are looking to grow or shake-up their infrastructure allocations.
Your goal will be to provide investor relations teams at leading asset managers with high value actionable information to help them better understand their competition, benchmark their efforts and spot new opportunities for growth.
The successful candidate will be expected to build up and cultivate a bulging book of helpful industry contacts and supply a regular stream of exclusive news articles as part of a fast-paced global infrastructure news desk.
You will also cover events and industry conferences throughout the year, providing plenty of opportunities to meet new sources and learn about the sector.

Requirements

Title: Senior Reporter – DACH Investors

With Intelligence is seeking an ambitious senior reporter to join our international editorial team, with responsibility for covering institutional investors across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).
This is an opportunity for an experienced journalist to deepen their footprint in financial reporting at a global intelligence brand with unrivalled access to some of the world’s most influential investors.
We are looking for reporters who are hungry for scoops, proactive in building sources, and able to deliver exclusive, actionable intelligence for our subscriber base. You will be expected to speak with senior executives at leading pension funds, insurers, foundations, and other asset owners across the DACH region, pressing for insight into their strategies, allocations, and manager relationships.
Fluency in German is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- File at least four proprietary news articles per week, including off-diary exclusives.
- Pitch and produce agenda-setting stories on the strategies, plans, and preferences of DACH institutional investors and other asset owners.
- Conduct regular interviews with CIOs, heads of investment, heads of manager research, and other senior industry figures.
- Build and maintain a robust network of high-level sources across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams as well as external PR and communications contacts.
- Represent With Intelligence at key industry conferences, summits, and investor meetings.

Requirements
Salary: £26.10 to £40.70 depending on experience/qualifications
Hours: Full time or Part Time
Contract Type: Hourly Paid
We are looking for knowledgeable and engaging educators to teach on our Content Creation degree modules in SAE Higher Education programmes under the guidance of the Academic and Programme Managers. The ability to deliver across a number of modules at all levels is desirable.
Key responsibilities
● Preparation of the modules you are timetabled to facilitate, including developing and updating learning objects to be shared with students.
● Facilitating learning through a variety of methods.
● Planning students’ learning experience through lesson plans and deliverable course material.
● Timely marking of assessments, providing useful and on-going feedback to students.
● Pro-active involvement in campus events which promote SAE and our programmes.
Essential Criteria
● Honours degree in a related field or significant relevant industry experience and, either PG Cert Education/HEA Membership,
● Ability to create and build on industry links.
● Experience in Content Creation and relevant practices in the field of marketing, graphic design, web development, social media campaigns. Photography or podcasting experience a bonus.
● Concept development, project management and production skills.
● Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
● Must have rights to live and work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria
● Higher Education teaching experience, within the field of education, including the creation of session plans and preparation of materials.
● Experience in project-based learning, using technology in learning, including VLE and other similar forms of facilitating learning.
