- Communicate and interpret design information for the site team and contractors, updating redline drawings where required.
- Oversee quality control, checking works against drawings, reviewing inspection and test plans (ITPs) and managing non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Support resolution of technical issues, track civil/structural progress, and contribute to specifications and snag lists.
- Assist with CDM documentation, health & safety files, and project handover packages.
- Represent the company in meetings with contractors and designers.
- 5–10 years’ experience in renewables, energy generation, or similar construction environments.
- HND in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Beneficial: knowledge of gas peaking plant construction, AutoCAD 2D, CSCS card/site safety qualifications, SharePoint.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across site and office teams.
- Broad technical knowledge of civil engineering works, including electrical/mechanical interfaces.

They've gaineda strong reputation for having delivered a successful AMP7 in Yorkshire so far and put themselves in the driving seat for a busy AMP8 (5 years confirmed work until 2030). They are established in the Yorkshireas well as having international workstreams also. They have a significant amountof Yorkshire work on the ground with current projects across West & South Yorkshire withmore due to start in 2025 & beyond.
Civil Engineering works on: Major Water Treatment works and storm tanks (projects from 500k to 20m+).
Duties:
- Setting out- using relevant kit
- Topographical surveys
- As-built surveys
- QA
- Quality control
- Involvement with site briefings
- Assisting Site Agent
- Updating site documentation
Experience required:
- Candidates should have proven experience asSite Engineerwithin a Civil Engineering setting
- Must be fully competent with working as PC and adept with documentation and site engineering processes.
- Must have experience with relevantkit: Total Station, Leica, Topcon etc.
- Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree).
- Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to45,000 (dependant on experience) plus.
