The Role

As Client Strategist, you’ll act as a trusted advisor — shaping strategy, driving retention, and identifying opportunities for expansion within existing client portfolios. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with organisational goals.
  • Craft engaging and persuasive content for various platforms, including press releases, social media, website copy, internal communications, and marketing materials.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
  • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Organise and manage press conferences, events, and other PR activities.
  • Develop crisis communication strategies and act as a spokesperson when required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, HR) to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of communication campaigns and report on key metrics.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in PR and corporate communications.
  • Contribute to the overall brand development and public perception of the organisation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing communication strategies, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong storytelling ability.
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations and securing positive press coverage.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate complex ideas into clear, concise messages.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with crisis communications is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication/PR software.
