**Role Summary**
+ Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
+ Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
+ Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
+ Ensure required switching schedules, SOPs and EOPs are created and utilised in line with Company policies and SSOW
+ Ensure that Evaporative Cooling Systems and domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard
+ Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
+ Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept in the form of REALM task sheets

Main Responsibilities:
* Collection of water samples from designated site taps
* Delivery of samples to specified laboratories for testing

The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international volunteers-led think tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change.

We are looking to recruit a couple of highly motivated and enthusiastic volunteers serving as IT Support Officers to provide support for our computer systems and networks. More experienced candidates will be appointed as Senior IT Support Officer or IT Support Manager. IT Support Officers will also be given exposure to our projects on blockchain, artificial intelligence and other emerging digital technologies under development.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing frontline IT support for the BCI Volunteers with their IT requirements. As part of the Technology Officer Grade, the IT Support Officers will be responsible for the smooth running of server systems and ensuring that users get maximum benefits from them. This will include supporting and providing technical assistance to BCI Volunteers that are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers. The successful candidates will also be required to test new products, run regular maintenance checks and keep abreast with information security issues.

Key responsibilities would include:

  • Providing excellent support service to BCI Volunteers;

This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical mastery and customer engagement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of aerospace tooling and equipment, while building strong, lasting relationships with customers worldwide.


The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the key technical and customer interface, combining your engineering know-how with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You’ll ensure that critical aeronautical tooling and ground support equipment remain operational, safe, and compliant.


This hands-on position offers real variety, combining technical repair and maintenance with business development, customer liaison, and service coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic tooling and ground support equipment.
  • Conduct load testing, functional checks, and technical assessments to validate equipment performance.
  • Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and develop effective repair solutions when standard procedures don’t apply.
  • Oversee workshop organisation, quality control, and documentation using ERP systems.
  • Coordinate field service activities and support service technicians and purchasers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for after-sales support, building trusted relationships with customers.
  • Prepare quotations, manage service requests, and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Participate in tenders, providing technical data and workload estimates.
  • Carry out on-site interventions for key aviation clients, including airlines, MROs, and OEMs.



Skills & Experience

  • Technical qualification or degree in mechanics (automotive, industrial, agricultural, heavy vehicles, or similar).
  • Strong hands-on experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic maintenance and repair.
  • Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with customer interaction, quotations, or service management.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
  • Additional skills such as welding, machining, or calibration are desirable.
