Role purpose
The SEO Specialist role is Responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.
Key accountabilities
Search Engine Optimization
- Responsible to maintain & optimize accounts/websites on top of the search pages of search engines. Help in daily operations of various online marketing initiative, which includes SEO keyword research, on page & off page optimization, image & video optimization.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Link Building activity, including advising and working with editorial and marketing teams on social media plans and activity
Knowledge Development
- Continuously update own knowledge of SEO best practices and latest trends and share learnings with relevant team members to enhance IDP marketing efforts
Required experience
The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
Strong understanding of website development & coding, as well as a fundamental grasp of Digital Marketing

- Manage relationships with any external content creators or SEO agencies.
