We are searching for a passionate Server at In Horto- London Bridge’s finest restaurant. In Horto, translated from Latin to ‘In The Garden’, is inspired by a family’s communal dining experience in a garden centered around a wood-fired oven.
ROLE : Server – In Horto, London Bridge
RATE : £12.50ph plus Service Charge

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service
- Complying with and following licensing regulations, Company procedures and policy’s
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
- Attend and complete all training provided
- Maintain operational standards
- Ensure rooms are prepped and ready for continued service
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to the area of choice; present menus/set times.
- Help patrons select food and beverages with recommendations and upselling
- Stay updated on food and beverage menus and stock levels
- Transmit orders to bar and food trader by recording patrons' choices on EPOS; identifying patrons' special dietary needs, allergens and special requests
- Serve orders, prepare basic drinks, deliver accompaniments and condiments
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Properly open and pour wine/champagne at the table side
- Obtain revenues by totalling charges, issuing bill and accepting payments
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed
- Address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
Requirements
- A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
- A genuine interest in food and beverage.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude and be an excellent team player.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment.
- Previous experience within hospitality industry would be ideal but not essential

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the W Lounge Manager for W Edinburgh, as Commis Waiter/Waitress you will be the key link between the Kitchen and our guests on the floor, ensuring they receive their meals in a timely fashion and answering any questions they may have on the dishes.
Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel's opening and beyond. We are looking for someone who is motivated, has an eye for detail, and would love to develop their hospitality skills!
As Commis Waiter/Waitress, key aspects of your role will include:
+ Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
+ Set tables to service standards
+ Answer any questions on the menu selection
+ Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
+ Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with the food courses and beverages
+ Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silver throughout the day
+ Restock items
+ Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
+ Work as a team with the rest of the W Lounge team, supporting wherever necessary as directed by your manager
