Our client – a major global technology and consulting partner to UK Government departments – is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join a specialist Salesforce delivery team supporting transformation programmes within the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
This is a hands-on build role working across Salesforce Industries (Public Sector Solutions) , contributing to the design, development, and deployment of high-impact citizen and case management systems.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for extending and enhancing Salesforce platform capabilities using Flows, OmniStudio, Apex, and Lightning Web Components , while ensuring the solution remains sustainable, secure, and aligned to Salesforce best practice.
This role requires both technical depth and a collaborative mindset — working closely with architects, functional leads, and public sector stakeholders in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Salesforce Industry Cloud solutions using Public Sector Solutions (PSS) .
- Implement Flows , OmniScripts , FlexCards , Action Plans , and Document Generation tooling to a high standard.
- Design and develop custom Apex classes and LWC components where required.
- Support CI/CD pipelines with Git and contribute to workflow documentation via Jira/Confluence .
- Collaborate with the wider delivery team to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of the solution.
- Act as a technical point of contact with client-side counterparts and contribute to best practice and standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience developing within Salesforce Industries / Vlocity .
- Strong working knowledge of OmniStudio , including OmniScripts , Integration Procedures (Omni Processes) , and Data Mappers (Data Raptors) .
- Experience with Apex , Lightning Web Components , and JavaScript .
- Integration exposure using MuleSoft, Apigee , or Connected Apps .
- Familiar with Salesforce sharing model , automated testing tools (Provar, Selenium), and agile delivery methods .
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Certifications (highly desirable):
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
- Salesforce Certified App Builder
- Salesforce Accredited Professional: Public Sector Solutions
Security Clearance
Active SC Clearance is essential. Candidates must have held clearance within the past 12 months and be eligible for transfer.
