An opportunity has arisen for a PDI Technician / Service Technician to join a well-established used car dealership, specialises in vehicle preparation and aftersales care.

As a PDI Technician / Service Technician , you will be preparing vehicles for resale through pre-delivery inspections and light servicing. This full-time role offers salary range of £28,000 - £38,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and basic servicing.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Conducting ramp and road testing as required.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Service Technician, PDI Technician, Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car mechanic, Car Technicianor in a similar role.
• Experience in a technician or mechanical role.
• EV/Hybrid trained (preferred but not required).
• Possession of basic personal tools.
• A full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years.

• To provide mechanical repair, service, calibration, and testing of industrial engineering equipment such as filters, hydraulic systems, pumps, condition monitoring products, bearings, and more at the workshop in Evesham. Full product training provided.
• Carry out general maintenance, fault diagnosis and re-calibration of condition monitoring products and systems at the service centre in Evesham.

• Will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and installation of fluid separation equipment, onshore and offshore, such as centrifuges, mud coolers, disc stacks, and more.
• The offshore Service Engineer will carry out repair and installation at the workshop in Aberdeen when not offshore.
• To assist in the training and onboarding of new / less experienced personal, both onshore and offshore.
• Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work, including the detail of any damaged equipment.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

• Proven experience providing service, maintenance, and repair of disc stack centrifuges, decanters, mud coolers, or similar.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Offshore Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
• Offshore experience is critical.
• A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
• The succesful candidate will be based in Aberdeen
• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
