Qualifications:

- Extensive experience with geotechnical investigation techniques and laboratory testing.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GEOSTUDIO, FLAC).
- Strong understanding of rock mechanics, soil mechanics, and hydrogeology.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based environmental advice to inform Ministerial decisions on nationally significant energy infrastructure projects under the Planning Act 2008. These projects may include both onshore and offshore developments, with a particular focus on offshore wind and solar.
