Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, flexibility and best-cost delivery

- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that tie into wider business objectives

- 5+ years in senior operations leadership within manufacturing

Alecto Recruitment are working with an established company within the Anaerobic Digestion sector who are currently looking for a Site Operations Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage operators and maintenance staff, overseeing daily AD plant operations, scheduling, performance, and training.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations through risk assessments and safety procedures.
* Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors for effective communication and service delivery.
* Manage budgets, resources, and procurement while coordinating maintenance and repairs.
* Monitor site performance, including biogas production and product quality, and implement improvements as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
* Develop and enforce procedures for safe and efficient plant operations.
* Provide technical support for new AD projects and initiatives.
* Coordinate delivery schedules and quantities with farmers and contractors
Knowledge and Experience:
* Previous experience managing a Food Waste AD site or similar is essential.
* Suitable WAMITAB qualification for Technically Competent Manager or NEBOSH qualified.
* Willing to embrace change and challenge processes to improve the efficiency and the effectiveness of the site/company.
* 8-10 years experience working at a management level position.
* Understanding of engineering process systems, Gas, Biogas, ATEX, DSEAR and COMAH regulations.
* Able to self-manage workloads and priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Commitment to achieve the highest standards of work at all times.
* Takes full ownership of tasks through to conclusion.
