Semi Skilled Fitter

This Semi Skilled Fitter role would involve removing vehicle modifications that have been previously installed on the vehicle.

Multi skilled engineer 

43K Mon-Fri 8-5 40 hours per week

The suitable candidate will be required to demonstrate:

• A strong multi-skilled engineering background, experienced and qualified in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
li>The ability to carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment.
• Possess excellent diagnostic skills to diagnose the causes and rectification of breakdowns.

Skills/qualifications:

• Ideally qualified to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and working within an industrial environment.
li>General mechanical/maintenance skills; including welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, replacing bearings, transmission systems including pulleys and belts.
• PLC and Inverter knowledge.
• Good computer literacy skills.
• Good communication skills, liaising with client departments.

Expected duties to be carried out on site:

• Working within the Engineering Department to carry out regular servicing and maintenance of thermal processing equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns to evaluate and rectify plant issues.
• Complete required documentation for the Engineering System.
• Follow predefined procedures to ensure continued safe/efficient operation of all equipment.
• Carry out required training to confidently complete tasks for maintenance activities.
