In this role you will be completing skilled tasks such as board fixing and working under site management instruction.

Search Consultancy are looking to speak to skilled labourers for work in Darlington for an upcoming start on a busy site.

We are looking for skilled labourers with experience of basic joinery, snagging and finishing, and a track record of reliability for this project, for a busy site.

Mon - Fri work - Parking available.
You will need your own basic tools.

Skilled Labourer / Handyman - Long-Term Housing Site Work

Location: Wynyard, Stockton-on-Tees
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30
Rate: 17.25 per hour (CIS payment available)

We are currently seeking a Skilled Labourer / Handyman to join a busy housing development in Wynyard. This is a long-term position offering consistent hours and stability for the right candidate.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assisting the onsite finisher with day-to-day tasks

• Carrying out a variety of handyman duties across the site

• General DIY and repair work as required

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe

• Supporting trades and site management where needed

Requirements:

• A valid CSCS card (essential)

• Previous experience as a handyman, skilled labourer, or in a similar role

• Strong practical skills and the ability to use basic tools confidently

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic

What We Offer:

• Long-term work on a housing site

• 17.25 per hour, paid weekly

• CIS payment available

• Steady hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30

• Call-Out Rota: 1 in 4 to 1 in 6 weeks
• Standby Payment: 150 per week

• Sunday/Bank Holiday: 4 hours at double time
• Typical annual additional earnings: ~5,000
