Job Title: Criminal Justice Social Worker
Location: Clackmannanshire, Scotland
Pay Rate: 25p/h - 38p/h
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Criminal Justice Social Worker to join a dynamic team in Clackmannanshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing support and intervention for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, helping them reintegrate into society and promoting positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Criminal Justice Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, identifying their needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans to address the specific needs of clients.
- Providing support and intervention services to individuals to reduce re-offending and promote rehabilitation.
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Engaging with clients and their families to facilitate positive outcomes and sustainable changes.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and assessments.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Social Work.e.g. Degree, Masters, DipSW
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the criminal justice system.
- Strong assessment and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in the field of criminal justice social work.
- LS/CMI risk assessment accredited
