My client based on the outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator on a full time permanent basis. We are seeking candidates highly skilled in electro-mechanical work and soldering to work in an expanding team. Please only apply if you have this experience.

Common duties may include:

· Assembling different electronic components using hand tools and soldering irons.

· Drilling and basic machining on plastic/metal enclosures using machine tools such as pillar-drills.

· Testing finished products and parts.

· Identifying and rectifying product defects and assembly problems, replacing faulty components when necessary.

· Following clean room procedures and safety protocols to handle sensitive electronic components.

· Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes and quality.

· Packing goods for dispatch
