**Your role and responsibilities**
The Advanced Architecture team is a highly strategic group within HashiCorp, an IBM Company (HashiCorp) focused on defining and executing the most technically complex and impactful go-to-market plays across the HashiCorp and IBM portfolios. Comprised of senior technical leaders and business development specialists, this team operates as an innovation hub that brings together technical architecture and commercial expertise. Through cross-functional collaboration and consultative engagement, we work backwards from our customers' hardest challenges to drive integrated solutions that unlock transformational value.
Our initial focus is on enabling joint customer success through the integrations with IBM Hybrid Cloud, Security and AI solutions. Over time, this team will define and deliver scalable field plays and reference architectures that span the full HashiCorp portfolio and evolving IBM ecosystem, including RedHat hybrid cloud offerings.
What you'll do (responsibilities)
As a Solution Architect (GTM Specialist), you will lead the technical go-to-market aspects of our strategic initiatives, working in tandem with Solution Architect Specialist to bring innovative solutions to market. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, translating technical capabilities into value propositions, driving field enablement, and orchestrating go-to-market programs that accelerate customer adoption. Candidates for this role must be located in the NYC Metro area
In this role, you will:
* Drive Strategic GTM Motions: Define and lead comprehensive go-to-market strategies that commercialize technical solutions and showcase the business value of HashiCorp and IBM solutions working together.
* Develop Solution Frameworks: Create structured offerings with clear use cases, value propositions, ROI models, and competitive positioning that resonates with enterprise decision-makers.
* Bridge Business and Technology: Work closely with Advanced Solutions Architects to ensure technical solutions are positioned effectively and address tangible customer business challenges.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* 7+ years in technical business development, product marketing, or solution management roles.
* 3+ years developing and executing go-to-market strategies for complex enterprise technology solutions.
* Experience with infrastructure automation, security, cloud platforms, or enterprise software markets.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience with IBM Hybrid Cloud, Security, or AI solutions and understanding their commercial positioning in enterprise markets.
* Background working at the intersection of infrastructure automation, security, and AI/ML technologies.

What you will be doing
Define the solution architecture for new and existing IT platforms to satisfy the requirements and enable the vision of the business.
Ensure that solution designs meet Enstar’s technical standards, including development, data protection, and cyber security.
Ensure that the solution designs created by Enstar’s third parties are peer reviewed and meet Enstar standards. Partner with third-party architect and design teams and provide an oversight and assurance role.
Create solution architecture designs as well as managing the team and processes.
Ensure that the Solution Architecture team has effective processes including peer review and collaboration with other IT disciplines (Operations, Cyber, Data, Enterprise Architecture, Innovations, etc.).
Leverage architecture principles to implement emerging/existing technologies, frameworks, methodologies, process models and tools to be used across the portfolio of IT products and services.
Work with Project Management to plan and estimate the delivery of solution designs.
Produce key artefacts to ensure design, planning, build, change management and handover to support functions.
Deliver technology platforms and frameworks that align with the IT vision, maximizing enterprise value with minimal costs.
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and governance councils to validate designs.
Working with the Enterprise Architects, participate in technology research and Proof of Concepts.
Lead workshops to define and articulate solutions to the build teams and participate in the delivery through Agile processes.

Who You Are

Comfort navigating CRMs, Data Warehouses, fundraising platforms, and nonprofit or mission-driven ecosystems.

Our Solutions Architecture team is a diverse group of technologists from various backgrounds. We work closely with AWS customers in the Gaming and Betting & Gaming industries to understand their unique needs and challenges. Our Solutions Architects leverage their expertise to offer valuable insights and provide tailored guidance on how to best utilize AWS technology to create business value and drive innovation in the industry.
As part of this team, you will blend business acumen with technical guidance to effectively engage with organizations at all stages of cloud adoption, helping them reinvent their businesses using AWS technology and guiding them on their cloud journey. You will encourage innovation and drive change to achieve better customer outcomes. You will manage the overall technical relationship between our customers and AWS, and lead activities such as architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, creating and delivering demos, and technical workshops. You will engage at all levels of the organization to influence decision-makers.
Internally, you'll be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and requirements to inform the roadmap of AWS features while collaborating with other teams such as account management, professional services, support, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
In this role, you will get to practice your creativity, linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS customers about the art of the possible.
You will create and share best practices at scale, including through the creation of technical content and reference architectures, for a variety of use cases, e.g., Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Serverless and Container-based architectures, Analytics and Big Data, DevOps, and Security.
You will have the support to grow your expertise in industry and technology areas in depth.
Practical knowledge of the AWS platform is desired but not required, provided you have a sound technical foundation and a desire to learn.

Key job responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to accelerate complex projects and align technological solutions with their long-term business objectives
- Build relationships with customers, including the C-suite and Line of Business stakeholders, to establish yourself as their trusted advisor.
- Share the voice of the customer to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
- Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures
- Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking etc
- Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your customer's outcomes and your interests.
A day in the life
A typical day might start by preparing for a customer meeting, reviewing their current business goals and how technology could help achieve them. During the meeting, you'll listen to the customer's challenges, ask probing questions, bringing a point of view rich with industry context and value, offering strategic advice on possible solutions. After lunch, you could find yourself diving deep into your customer's technical architecture, collaborating with internal teams to design a custom solution. Later, you might lead a workshop to educate customers on new AWS features or write a blog post sharing best practices. Throughout the day, you'll balance relationship-building with technical work, continually learning to keep up to date with evolving technologies.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
