Our Solutions Engineering (Presales SE) Org' is a driving force within NetApp UK sales account teams. The Presales SE significantly contributes to build and manage the strongest possible relationship with technical peers in key strategic customer accounts. The Strategics SE proactively drives and owns the technical relationship and strategy into their customer account whilst also driving technical initiatives, oversees all pre-sales activity (presentations, demonstrations, sizing, etc) while ensuring the right expertise from a supporting cast of NetApp specialist is applied where needed.
**Role**
As the technical lead on focused accounts, you will develop the strategy to increase penetration into UK Strategic customers, based on the requirements of their industry in alignment with NetApp's solution offerings.
Influence and support the channel 'route-to-market' working with peer technologists at partner resellers & service-integrators hand-in-glove. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring holistic delivery to clients, by understanding customer's needs, creating and articulating solutions to the buying centres. Regularly demonstrate the value of newer emerging technologies that supports customer transformation - whilst also strengthening existing business avenues.
Actively identify new sales opportunities that build pipeline, develop technical solutions to meet customers' needs and requirements, work through the fiscal campaign to then develop, close and win on sustained pipeline.
Operates technical excellence and discipline at all times, tuning & refining solutions to maximize revenue as well as being the technical authority on final solution proposals. Constantly innovating and quick thinking on your feet to bring new ideas to the table across your accounts and develop customer centric objectives into NetApp rounded solutions.
**Job Requirements**
- Excellent communications skills, presenting in either small round-table events or to larger audiences.
- Strong understanding of modern technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace, including (but not limited to); infrastructure data storage, virtualisation, cloud, cloud-native, finops, devops, AI, data-protection & recovery.
- Able to build strong financial and commercial arguments for TCO and procurement methods.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
- Ability to organically build firm business relationships with customers from technical buyer through to C-Level executives.

**Qualifications and Experience**

You will:
- Serve as the subject matter expert in Cisco security solutions
- Provide guidance and assist account teams within the territory in building solutions to address specific customer security needs
- Understand business requirements for a customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements
- Understand and articulate Cisco's architecture and services within security technologies
- Create, present, and document technical solutions
- Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers partners and prospects
- Drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. technical consulting, upper-level management presentations, and Cisco technology solutions) while allowing local account teams to maintain long-term ownership
**Minimum Qualifications**

- 4-6 years of technical sales or Customer Success with 3 years in Cloud/Network Security.
- Hands on experience with one or more of these Cisco Security Products (or their competitive equivalent):
Proven track record of managing or winning technical high-value security projects.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- History of successful quota achievement.
- Ability to demo / POV any ofthese Cisco Security products(the more the better): Knowledge of public clouds AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Experience with incident response a plus
- Experience with administering security for a company (e.g. purchased and deployed Cisco security products as a customer) is a plus.
- Solid presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with whiteboard discussions that transform customer requirements into security solutions
- Highly motivated self-starter who does not need day-to-day management
- Experience with APIs and scripting languages is a nice to have but not required.
- Travel required, Home office based

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

**What's the role?**
As a Dynatrace Log Management and Analytics - Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the Dynatrace sales engine and will be responsible for providing excellent technical support to the sales team. You will be the expert on Dynatrace and observability, with a specialization in Log Management and Analytics. Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for executing great demos which demonstrate the Dynatrace unique approach in solving the customer's pain, executing and managing POCs onsite and remote, building key relationships with Dynatrace's customers and completing RFIs & RFPs. You will also work across teams including Dynatrace's innovation labs, Dynatrace's Expert Services consultants, CSMs and marketing.
**About you:**
To ensure your success as a Solutions Engineer at Dynatrace, you need to be an ambitious, confident and self-motivated individual, with previous SE experience or another technical customer facing role. **Responsibilities** :
+ Evangelize Dynatrace's product offerings during international trade shows and at key customer account meetings to promote new and expanded business.
+ Partner with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities as well as incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts.
+ As part of the solution engineering team participate in proof of concept (PoC) creation and cloud architecture discussions, leading the technical solution evaluation portion in support of sales opportunities either directly or through channel partners for multiple POCs.
+ Present Dynatrace's vision to our customers C-suite executives.
+ Provide technical guidance in the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle.
+ Present on-stage demonstrations providing insight and context to our customers during key marketing events.
+ Either at Dynatrace sponsored industry events or partner sponsored events, ensure key demonstrations are delivered by you or a team member at demonstration booths.
+ Gather, qualify and provide feedback from customers to Product Management to improve Dynatrace's market share and meet the market needs.
+ Build best practices and share knowledge the team to continuously develop and enhance both your personal and team capabilities.
+ Work with local Sales and Sales Engineering leadership to identify learning/ development opportunities for you and the local team to maintain Dynatrace's leadership position in the market.
+ Create and modify Dynatrace template presentations, in order to attend the specific demands of each customer not only work with internal sales team, but also with partners, supporting their team in the customers and being a technical point of contact for them (trusted advisor/technical coach).

+ Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems (OS) including Windows and Linux.

+ Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes / OpenShift, Serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Experience with automation like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
