Reporting to Senior Supply Chain Leader, working within Naval business unit as a successful Strategic Sourcing Specialist; you are responsible for full wing to wing Sourcing process for the assigned commodities and projects. This includes Direct and some Indirect (Tooling, systems)
**Responsibilities** ;
+ Knowledgeable in formulating 'Commodity Strategy' based on historical data, future project's demand, and other key indicators
+ Lead the execution of the local sourcing strategy in line with Global commodity strategy guidance; deliver a competitive advantage by driving the strategic supplier initiatives, selection, development, and consolidation to ensure optimal business performance.
+ Execute across the purchase base, with full accountability for meeting deflation (savings), usage, cash and preferred supplier targets.
+ Carry out in depth cost breakdown analysis and negotiate lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Local & Global supply base
+ Knowledgeable in supplier Contract Negotiation working with Legal teams
+ Manage & lead risk mitigation plans for assigned commodity
+ Support bidding team with RFQs (Lowest possible TCO & lead times) in line Customer expectations to win new business
+ Identify, select, develop, audit new suppliers and support their onboarding along with quality team
+ Ability to lead Make Vs Buy decision metrics
+ Undertaking the continuous review of supplier performance against quality, cost, delivery and risk metrics (Supplier Scorecard) to ensure we have Best in Class supply chain
+ Lead Supplier Business Reviews to build the strategic relationship with preferred suppliers
+ Lead Sourcing Board Reviews (Management Review Board) for Commodity Strategy & Project Sourcing Strategy
+ Drive lowest cost of poor quality (CoPQ) metrics along with SQIE
+ Support Warranty team to get right support from suppliers to resolve Customer issue and improve process/product
+ Maintaining compliance with GE's policies & procedures
**Qualifications / Requirements** ;
+ Experience with Naval/Defence sector working with MoD (preferred)
+ Knowledgeable in cyber security requirements
+ Bachelor's degree preferably within Technical/Engineering or CIPS (desirable).
+ Relevant experience within manufacturing / engineering environment
+ Ability to develop Sourcing Strategy
+ Ability to understand legal terms and contract negotiation
+ Ability and willingness to travel nationally & internationally as required

+ Support wider AECOM stakeholders with supplier relationship management for strategic suppliers, including the use of key performance indicators and escalation of performance issues where necessary, to maintain value post contract and help to realise forecast cost savings.

A rapidly growing company based in Ascot are looking to hire a Property Sourcing Specialist to join their dynamic team. This hybrid role will allow you to develop skills within property and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Sourcing: Identify and source potential properties (for purchase or lease) through various channels, including online listings, property agents, networking, and market research.
- Needs Analysis: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand property requirements, including location, size, budget, and specific features.
- Property Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of potential properties, including site visits, assessments of property condition, and due diligence.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with property owners or agents to secure the most favourable agreements, including purchase prices, lease terms, and other contractual details.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, agents, developers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Monitor property market trends, analyse data, and provide insights to inform procurement decisions.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the procurement process.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with property transactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience within Property/Real estate is beneficial
- Confident in negotiating property transactions.
- Experience with sourcing properties
Skills:
- Confidence to communicate with Property Managers and Travel agents through various means of communication
- Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Strong understanding of property valuation methods.
- Contract negotiation and management skills.

As a Sourcing Specialist you will ensure the timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and services while upholding quality, compliance, and sustainability standards.
The responsibilities of the Sourcing Specialist :
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for both direct and indirect materials to drive cost efficiency. li>Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; manage ongoing supplier relationships to ensure quality and value.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
