Location: Croydon (plus 2 days a week at other sites)
Salary: 50,000-60,000 - depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We're supporting the launch of a brand-new specialist school, set to open this September. As part of the core leadership team, we're looking for an experienced and qualified SENCo to help shape and lead provision from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic role where you can have a genuine impact on culture, systems and outcomes for learners with complex needs. You'll be based primarily in Croydon, with two days a week at another established SEN setting to support cross-site consistency and collaboration.
What We're Looking For:

Proven leadership experience in an SEN or alternative provision setting
Deep understanding of SEND frameworks, EHCPs and therapeutic support
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
A hands-on leader ready to help build something from the ground up
This school will cater for pupils with a range of needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD and communication difficulties. The right candidate will bring both strategic vision and practical know-how to support staff, pupils and families from the very start.
This role is time-sensitive - applications are moving quickly, and interviews are being arranged on a rolling basis. If you're ready to be part of an exciting new chapter in specialist education, we want to hear from you.
