This is a mix of Adults and Children however, if you have a preference there is opportunity to stay within your area of interest.

Role Requirements:

• Accessibility to the Western side of Brisbane, as this is where the clinic is. Not daily, but 1 - 2 times per week.

This is a full-time permanent role, where you will work with adults who have additional learning needs, challenging behaviours and communication difficulties, due to backgrounds of autism, learning disabilities/difficulties and developmental trauma. There are nine community day services in the Midlands region, which all offer a range of activities (such as sports, exercise, sensory, crafts and cooking sessions) to work on personal, communication, life and social skills, in a fun and interactive learning environment.

Although having a clinical base, you will be required to travel to the different day services, depending on clinical need, to carry out assessments, provide therapeutic interventions and deliver training to support and teaching staff. In addition to this, you will liaise closely with local
