Our client is seeking ambitious B2B Sponsorship Sales Managers with a background in either B2B Technology or the Events industries.
As a Sponsorship Sales Manager you will actively develop new and existing relationships with clients through professional sales.
As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving sponsorship revenue growth across a portfolio of high value events and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders within leading tech companies, this will then align their brand with the industry’s most exclusive summits and thought leadership opportunities.
You will manage multiple projects and deadlines with a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a flair for delivering persuasive presentations.
Duties
- Gain sponsorship for Cyber Security Events from key players in the industry li>Strategic sales development and execute sponsorship sales strategies that exceed revenue targets and foster high-value long-term partnerships
- Conduct market research and identify and qualify prospective sponsors leveraging in-depth industry knowledge to target decision-makers in tech and cyber security sectors
- Build and manage relationships and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors acting as a trusted advisor to help them maximize their ROI
- Conduct sales presentations to deliver compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to each prospect’s unique goals highlighting the value of partnering with the clients brands < i>Confidently negotiate contracts and close deals that drive growth for the client and their sponsors
- Collaborate and work closely with the marketing and production teams to align sponsorship packages with event content ensuring sponsors receive premium exposure to their target audience

Job Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Representing multiple Wilmington businesses and leading on promoting the events portfolio and sponsorship opportunities.
• Driving both new business development (50%) and growth from existing accounts (50%), acquired in the last 2–3 years.
• Identifying, researching and engaging new prospects while managing consultative sales conversations and creating tailored proposals.
• Building strong collaborative relationships with Product, Marketing, Operations and business teams within ICA and Axco.
• Achieving KPIs and sales targets through a mix of outbound activity, consultative selling, pipeline management and client relationship building.
• Attending events, meeting customers face-to-face, and driving year-on-year sponsor retention.
