Basic Qualifications
- IT/Tech/Cloud sales experience in closing new business and carrying quota
- Proven track-record of consistent customer growth and quota achievement in IT sales
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a technology company
- Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts including compute, storage, database and higher order capabilities like microservices, analytics, serverless and machine learning
- Knowledge of UK Startup landscape and passion for helping startups grow
- Entrepreneurial "builder" mentality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable delivering results amid ambiguity and change
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/MA/MS degree or relevant experience.
- A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science
- History of working for, or selling to tech startups

Our client, a fast-growing recruitment consultancy that partners exclusively with innovative tech startups, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work with disruptive companies shaping the future of technology. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for a variety of technical and non-technical roles, building talent pipelines, and advising startup founders on effective hiring strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to source high-caliber candidates in competitive markets, a passion for the startup ecosystem, and excellent relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for tech startups, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent for software engineering, product management, marketing, and other key roles.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with candidates and maintain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Partner closely with startup founders and hiring managers to understand their unique needs, culture, and talent requirements.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including technical assessments and behavioural interviews.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic advice on compensation, employer branding, and recruitment best practices.
  • Manage candidate experience to ensure a positive and engaging process.
  • Utilise recruitment technology and ATS effectively to track candidates and manage workflows.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the consultancy by sharing insights and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a significant focus on tech companies or startups.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing candidates in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Expertise in using various sourcing tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, niche job boards, tech communities).
  • Strong understanding of tech roles and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Experience in a recruitment agency or consultancy is highly preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for the startup culture and a proactive, results-driven approach.
